Timothy was born 60 years ago Today!
How did the Parents decide on the Name Timothy? Do you think they discussed name possibilities BEFORE the Birth? What if T.J. had been a Female? What would they have named Her?

I think they wanted to name him "Eli" or "Ervin"...but, those names were taken; hence, "TIMOTHY". Sounds good to me!

And now the REST of the story....i was told several times by Mother that my name was Philip for 1 day. Named after her father Philip McDermott. She thought I was the last one and none of her boys or nephews was named after her Dad.
A nurse walked in one morning and asked if they had picked a name she replied "Philip" and the nurse said something like,"That's an old man's name".
She thought about it and changed it to Renaldo Garibaldi
Timothy Augustine Slim Pickens McKendry.
