I have had some injuries in my life but I had no clue what an Oblique Strain is...

Internal oblique muscles – these flank the rectus abdominus and are ... the left side internal oblique and the right side external oblique to contract together. ... You can strain your abdominal muscles from overstretching or overuse. ."

Even during the after game show, Ricky Bo tells us he had an "oblique" injury in his time in the Big Leagues but he does not tell us what an oblique injury is!  I was thinking it had to do with the Thigh area or the Hip area...was any one else as Clueless as me?

Oh yea...Shane Victorino strained his oblique muscle in tonights victory & had to leave the Game.

I understand your confusion...I just Wikipedia'd "OBLIQUE" and there are so many definitions it just Blows the Mind. Which proves my Point! These Sports Writers put this stuff out there & they have no Clue what they are writing about. The Team puts this stuff out there knowing it is confusing as to what type of injury the player suffered & The Media does not question it! Same thing happens in all phases of Life...Albeit, Football, B.Ball, Politics, Horse Racing, etc...The Media are not real smart to be tricked so Blatantly...

This is the kind of stuff that is written on the Blog when a certain Blogger has not had Nicotine injected into his system in more than 96 Hours! And spent 7 hours on the Gurney today with a Misty Mask covering his nostrils/lips & lower chin while his oldest brother went to the Hospital Cafeteria & ordered a "Salmon Burger"? Who would order a "Salmon Burger" in a V.A. Hospital Cafeteria?
