Coco will be 13 years old in December. She is absolutely obsessed with me & Uncle John. Problem is, I spend 99% of the time with Coco (she is laying @ my feet as I type) there are things I would like to do that don't include Coco. Like, drive my Jeep across country to visit Sam, Kelly & the Gran' kids.
Timmy tells me there are people that will adopt old dogs. My concern is that Coco will not be Happy with someone else, she will not allow even Jason to walk her. Only John & myself are permitted. Coco is totally Healthy! I was kidding w/ Jason the other day about the Fact that Coco has NO Lumps! Most people that have old dogs rub their dogs to find Lumps so they can take them to the Vet for attention. I rub Coco, she has no Lumps & my fear is that she will out-live me!
Plus, she sheds like crazy...but she has always done that!
Bottom line?...I will continue to Hang out with Coco. so far....

Easy solution. Allow John to move in when you go to California. That way he will be with Coco and able to walk the "precious" canine every day. John can then watch your HD entertainment center and play with your Apple computer while you are gone. Please do not give Stoney the phone numbers to any of your female friends. He simply has a way with women!!
