Old Oven/Old Broiler issue...

If i can find a photo of an old oven/broiler I will Post it here for the People that like "picture books"

  • Meanwhile, I have Oven problems & cooking questions
My Oven has shut down! And three people have tried to get it going & each one said, "Timmy could start this". There is NO Pilot Light! So, I call Timothy & he says, ..."it must have an electronic ignition that is set off to ignite the Gas". Timmy was right, the Gas Man was in today & told me, basically the same thing.
  • I gave T.J. a B++ for his evaluation, holding back the A+ because he did not know where to buy the replacement part. Is that being too harsh?
My cooking question is about Shrimp Scampi...I know it includes spaghetti and shrimp, evoo and what else?
  • What in the Shrimp Scampi provides the "juice" like spaghetti sauce does in spaghetti? I am really Jones-ing for Shrimp Scampi...........

you need some Lemon Juice Pea...steam the shrimp. Add the evoo just as the pan you are saturating the shrimp into starts to Heat UP. Then add some white wine and some Vodka...just a Splash...stir, at medium heat, then put two dashes of Budweiser mixed with Yeast and finish it off with a sprat of Tapioca. Serve with some Jack Daniel's and no-one will care about the Scampi

Pea- You need to add white wine and brandy to the mix. Your scampi will be scrumptious...

Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 cup of Olive oil
1 diced shallot
1/2 cup fresh parsley, minced
4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
1 fresh lemon, juiced
1/2 cup white wine
3 tablespoons of brandy
2 tablespoons butter
