BUT, I SAY! The Jewish Women are a different Breed! For your info, today is the last day of Hanukkah ("Hanukkah is observed for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day ofKislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.
The festival is observed by the kindling of the lights of a unique candelabrum, the nine-branched Menorah or Hanukiah, one additional light on each night of the holiday, progressing to eight on the final night. The typical Menorah consists of 8 branches with an additional raised branch. The extra light is called ashamash (Hebrew: שמש, "attendant" or "sexton")[1] and is given a distinct location, usually above or below the rest. The purpose of the shamash is to have a light available for use, as using the Hanukkah lights themselves is forbidden.[2]"))
meanwhile, while all this is going on I found myself in "The Guitar Store" today behind what I perceived to be 2 women of the Jewish Faith...
- One Woman buying a Guitar Tuner
- The other Woman...paying with a Check!
It is the Last Day of Hanukkah! Why are these women even allowed out today?
- In the First Case, after the Salesman showed the Woman 5 Tuners, he brought out a Guitar, hooked up the 6th Tuner the woman looked at it & he asked her if she Played Guitar...she said No! But, she then asked to see a 7th Tuner!@#$%^&*!!! this lasted 19 minutes...
- In the Second Case, the Woman whips out her check book, writes out a check for DRUM STICKS!!!! drum sticks...the Counter Guy has to run the Check thru a Scanner, needs I.D. & has to make THREE phone calls after he Finger Printed Her ! This lasted 22 minutes & my Patience was running thin...
I finally get up there w/ my $29.00 purchase & scan my Debit Card...the Machine is "off line" I am told! & I have to wait 'til "Tuner Lady" finishes her purchase...

Just another reason why I refuse to shop before Christmas; The prices are much better the day after Christmas. Now all you have to do is convince the "little lady" that this process is the best way. I've been trying for 46 years. She is still resisting.
I feel your pain Pea. Hope whoever is getting the gift you bought appreciates the trouble you went through...Merry Gerry!
Hope he didn't buy me no damn drumstick. Buy the whole bird or nothin at all.
I think we should make Chuanucka a huge gift buying politically correct "holiday season" holiday. Why not? They helped ruin Jesus' birthday.
