- It was a Fun night. What a great campus & only a couple miles from the Ocean. We accidentally found a nice restaurant where we sat ourselves at the Bar.
St. Francis lost by about 7, "SEVEN"...but both the Stoneman & his Buddy Whalen kept telling me about the problem with the Red Flash game plan & implying how much they know about Basketball!
- meanwhile...back at the "nice restaurant" we met Mario, a Retired Manmoth(?) Police Officer that has a $4000.00 a Month Pension, has been Married for 37 years, is 55 years old and works out 7 days a week and is available for Investigative Services & took a liking to the Stoneman...Mario was a Trip & kept us in the "nice restaurant " until 7:25PM, while the Game was to begin @ 7:45PM!
- I should mention that Jim (the Whalen one) paid for the Tickets & requested 3 "Senior Citizen" Tickets which cost $5.00 per, as opposed to the General Admission Ticket price of $14.00!
The reason I have the Photo above is that I asked Mario, Whalen & Stoneman if they knew who this Rookie NBA Phenom is...they then went on to besmirch the NBA...and then admitted
- they did not know who the Rookie is...

That NBA rookie is Blake Griffin. Actually he was supposed to play last year in the NBA but an injury kept him out all year. Watch this KID he is amazing. I believe HE will become the face of the NBA very shortly. Reminds me a lot of GPea the way he can "SKY"
How can two basketball "know-it-all's" not know who that is? Not only is he going to be NBA rookie of the year, he was also the NCAA player of the year at Oklahoma. Then was chosen #1 in the 2009 NBA draft.
What do those 2 posters know about bball? That's Maurice Stokes! Look it up.
Allow me to clarify the 'didn't occur' story of Pea. Like the saying goes, 'often wrong but never in doubt'. Pea asked not who is this guy but rather "is he actually 6'10" tall?". The actual question did not include a picture at all but was asked in the context of 'have you seen the guy who jumps/dunks in the nba? The story said he's 6'10"...is he really?' I said he's pretty tall but I'm not sure if he's actually 6'10 or not".... end of ACTUAL QUESTION and story. Most informed bball fans know all about B.Griffin back thru college ball when he played w/ his older brother at U.of OK. I said INFORMED Pea. Get it?
Like the saying goes, never let the Facts get in the way of a good narrative...
