OK...my Brother Edward (who has connections) took me to the Phillies Game Tonight...

...it was not THAT cold, but a strong wind was a-blowin'. So much a-blowin' wind that  Edward made a phone call or a text message to Management and the next thing I know is that some "Chippie" is bringing us Phillie Scarves, Calenders & Hot Cocoa while displaying her Division Title Ring!  Honestly!  Michael admitted that he was "under-dressed", Jason & Courtney could not believe how much the wind was blowing & how we scored Scarves & Cocoa  on the first base side of the Field...since their seats were in Left Field where they say the Wind was not a-blowin'.


  • By the way...our Phillie Scarves are Red...and the Cocoa was Hot!
Also, My Coco was not able to attend, she was "Home Alone"....

Anyone who goes to a Phillies game during the first week in April at night is a "Lunatic". Especially since the NCAA womens' championship was be televised. Yep, 76 - 70 Texas A&M wins. Certainly not like the men's game, 53 - 41. A definite disgrace, the men have forgotten how to shoot. Dunks snd 3 balls is all you see. The women... "Sweet Petunia" they can "fill it up".

Can somebody tell me, I was asked to take Maeve to her 4yr old soccer practice (she's a girl it's ok to play soccer) we get there at 5:30 for 6:00 practice. "where do you play Maeve" I ask as we get to the empty fields. "waaaaaay down there Poppy". We drive to the far end and warm up.

Big kids show up on 3 fields. No little guys. We start playing. I'm creaming her 2-0! She keeps asking "where's my team Poppy?" Dunno Maeve.

6:20, she's conceded defeat 4-3. "Let's go home Poppy". As we drive out we find her team mates on the other field waaaaaay far away from where we were. Kids, parents, they're all there...........AT THE WRONG FIELD!

What are the odds of that happening???
