A nice Sunday Night with

Timothy, Maureen, Michael & Mary & The Pea. We went to "Finn McCool's Tavern" in Ambler and ate in the suburban air on the Patio, or is it a Veranda or just "out-door dining"? Actually, our waitress told us we had to go inside the Tavern to retrieve our drinks and bring them outside, which Mary did for us...some kind of "Licensing" thing (see prior Post re: Gov't  Rules).

  • T.J. told us the Story of the Real "Finn McCool"
  • Michael & Mary (Pitcher & Umpire) told us of a hilarious scenario with "Matthew the Catcher"
  • Maureen told me it was the First Time she had been to my Pad & said she liked it!
  • Pea just kept nodding his head, oblivious to what was being said...
and Coco remained in the Yard by herself,  since she refused to come inside when we were leaving. She now does not like "company" when the TV is on! I am Not making this stuff up.

Pea is for Politics....!

And on Tuesday Bibi will be talking to a joint session of congress...this is a Big Deal...

  • And did you know that Benjamin NetanYahoo ( I have no clue how to spell his last name) went to Cheltenham High School in Montgomery County and was a buddy of  Dan Ragan?
Netanyahu was born in 1949 in Tel Aviv to Zila and professor Benzion Netanyahu, the middle child of three children. He was initially raised and educated in Jerusalem. Between 1956 and 1958, and again in 1963-67,[8] his family lived in the United States in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, where he attended and graduated from the Cheltenham High School and was active in a debate club. To this day, he speaks English with an American accent.[9] More precisely, he has still retained most of his Philadelphia accent and still mourns the too early death of his good friend Dan.

The Macho Man was one of the greats...

A few of you may have heard that Randy “Macho Man” Savage died last Friday. While driving his Jeep, the Macho Man suffered a massive heart attack and crashed into a tree. He was one of the greatest wrestlers of all-time. I will miss the Macho Man. I attached a link to an article about him as an aspiring catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals and a few video clips…. He was great.

Folks, I can't resist this cause I am not a Joe Biden Fan. I would like to have a Beer with him but, I would probably end up beating him...in Shuffleboard...

Joe Biden opens his mouth about US Navy SEALs

Since President Barack Obama announced that “a small team of Americans” had killed Osama bin Laden, US government officials have carefully stuck to the line that they will not talk about which units were involved.
Obama did not say it was the SEALs. In numerous television appearances, Obama’s counter-terrorism chief John Brennan didn’t and his deputy national security adviser Denis McDonough didn’t. Despite the numerous news reports that named the SEALs, none of the anonymous briefers from the CIA and Pentagon would confirm it.
Here’s a typical response to a question about the SEALs from a senior defence official in a Pentagon briefing on Monday:
QUESTION: Can I ask you, can you confirm that it was a (Navy) SEAL team? And was this a specially designated team that had been practising or reviewing intelligence for a while and they were the unit of choice?
SENIOR DEFENCE OFFICIAL:  Not going to comment on units or numbers.
But here’s what the legendarily verbose and loose-lipped Vice President Joe Biden said at a dinner at Washington’s Ritz Carlton Hotel last night to mark the 50th anniversary of the Atlantic Council:
Let me briefly acknowledge tonight’s distinguished honorees.  Admiral James Stavridis is a, is the real deal.  He can tell you more about and understands the incredible, the phenomenal, the just almost unbelievable capacity of his Navy SEALs and what they did last Sunday.
And:
Folks, I’d be remiss also if I didn’t say an extra word about the incredible events, extraordinary events of this past Sunday.  As Vice President of the United States, as an American, I was in absolute awe of the capacity and dedication of the entire team, both the intelligence community, the CIA, the SEALs.  It just was extraordinary.

7PM & I am minding my own Bees Wax...

Candles
  • Beeswax candles are preferred in churches because they burn cleanly, with little or no wax dripping down the sides and little visible smoke.[citation needed] Beeswax is also prescribed as the material (or at least a significant part of the material) for the Paschal candle ("Easter Candle") and is recommended for other candles used in the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church.[8]
  • Beeswax is used commercially to make fine candles.
!! Just then...Jason walks through the Door in his Flyers shirt & Uncle Michael follows close behind 5 Minutes later with his Flyers Pom-Poms!
  • Uncle Michael was not close enough behind 'cause he missed the first Two Bruin Goals in the 1st 1 minute & 3 seconds...!
ME?....I went back to my bees wax...THOSE TWO?...they kept on Cheering the Flyers on...

It's sort of a Good Day for a War Story ...

I remember 1968 when Me, Duke & Stan were on Guard Duty and were ordered to jump into one of Four APC's, we had been asleep at the time. None of us had ever been in an APC (Armored Personnel Carrier) before! We were "Dispatchers!"...anyway, there were six of us in there with some Nasty looking Guy on top of us swinging around on a Swivel with an M-50! The APC stops & the Nasty Guy whispers to us "Deploy"!...with some urgency in his voice (Yikes!). We stared at him...we had no idea what he was talking about...the back ramp opens up & he yells! "Get the F!$%^&*ck out of here!!!@#$%^...." and that's a quote...Meanwhile Sarge is telling us not to "Lock & Load" our M-16's till he gives us the Order & that this is Not a Drill. Screw that! We all laid in Tall Grass waiting for the onslaught with Stan's  Glasses fogging up...fortunatley, the only Guy coming through the weeds was Ho-Chi-Minh all by himself on a bicycle! They swore us to Secrecy, but that's how we caught Ho-Chi!

  • ...and every word (at least 87.4%) is True!
God Bless the SEALS!!! and The U.S.  Military!

Do We Have A Name Yet ???

Speaking of

Her older siblings Declan and Keelan were like 10 and change she looks like 7 and change.
