I'm thinking of getting a Cat! And, a Tale of Judith Ann/Coco and The Kitten...

Judy Ann Loved going out on a Saturday Night. Would start preparing about 3:00PM for an 8:00 PM Invite. Bath, Budweiser, Outfit try ons' & Makeup & different Hair Settings...

One such night we walked out our door & JA heard something before she got in the Jeep. Of course, Me being Me, she didn't ask "did you hear that?" She just walked over to the Tall grass & told me, "there's a kitten in there". I walked over & sure enough...there was a kitten in there! She told me to pick it up & take it inside...I did. It was not as big as my hand.

In Full Makeup and Outfit (& another Bud) JA went into action!

  • WE were not going out!  We gave milk & cereal to the kitten. Coco was wonderful with the Ball of Fur (we had no cage & they both got along for 5 days while we were working) Finally,  JA took the Kitten in a shopping bag on SEPTA to give it to a young woman in her office!
I bring this up cause the young woman e-mailed me today to tell me she did not know that JA had passed and that "Henry" (the kitten) was still alive. She sent her condolences & her appreciation for JA's generosity and...

very nice story GPea...very sweet. How-some-ever, I am "lergic" to cats big time. Immediately can't breathe when I'm around them. If you should acquire a cat - and that decision is completely yours - I will visit you less than I do now (which we know hasn't been much). Also, I'm not sure that Taylor guitars function well in feline environs. But...the decision is completely yours. One other thing to consider... how much to you like your fish? The cat could end up taking a plunge into the acquarium...

Pea, as a pet owner for years now I think the appropriate pet for you is a sloth. Look it up. Right down your alley.

I don't trust Cats. Kitty litter may be the most foulest thing in the world. Buy another fish.

Pea: I'm late to this story...JA lives in Henry! Great story.
I was teaching Nicole and KT T. to drive and going around pkg. lot @ Springfield H.S. KT was driving (very slowly) and I happened to look into weeds and saw 4 kittens. I yelled STOP ....and KT damn near dislocated my neck. We got out and picked them up and the girls wanted to bring them home. thought for a minute and calculated 8 cans/day x 30 days + 2 @ home (Bubba & Scooter) and cost of the vet and said 'it's dangerous to take them 'cause the mom might follow us and be very sad.......probably still prowling Flourtown and fat as hogs. KT learned to drive, Nicole drives and I still prowl Flourtown and who knows, one day I might live in the weeds.........
