and every store had an excess of shoppers! It was like the Day before a Blizzard! BJ's had a sign up that said...
- SORRY, WE HAVE SOLD OUT OF GENERATORS.
Instead of waiting in line at the Deli counter (which was 4 deep) I bought pre-packaged cheese slices and a Canned Ham!

I know you're at a higher altitude high atop the mountains of Roxborough but is it THAT much colder that they need winter coats? Wow!
Speaking of Irene, is there a name for the condition that causes someone to watch the weather for hours on end? Not complaining mind you; just askin'. Kinda like watching a TV show where they paint a room or buy a house or a wedding dress or design a beach coverup made out of a used inner tube. Interesting stuff. Seriously. VERY entertaining. Gotta go, gonna go to the supermarket and watch people redeem coupons.

Anybody have a need for 20 cases of water? 2 cases each of AA, AAA, C, D or 9 volt batteries? A dozen flashlights? A $2,500 generator? 6 boxes of iodine tablets? 2300 candles? 100 lbs of beef jerky? 52 blankets? A solar operated 60" HDTV programmed for ESPN?
Action News said I should get this stuff. At my last yard sale i finally unloaded the last of the Y2K stuff. Hope i didn't sell the GARAGE SALE lawn signs.........
