Yes, this 'Get-A-Way" weekend I learned to bake an Irish Soda Bread!

...and while @ TJ & Mo's place I learned what it looks like when two women (Keelan/Meghan) are in "Panic Mode" over the Baking of 36 Highly Decorated Cupcakes and a Flamboyantly Decorated Chocolate Cake that is still being tended to before taking off on a 45 minute drive to make the "Guaranteed Delivery" with screams of...  "This is No Time for making Humorous Comments Uncle Gerry!!@#$%^&*()_!!!"

  • PS...Keelan made the delivery with time to spare...
PPS...Paddy was no help at all

The soda bread was delish! (the crust was a little "chewy", but good--I'll have to ask our family professional baker what caused that).

So, I hear the Pea is taking orders for the bread for special occasions--get your order(s) in early!
