The little bugger arrived 3 wks early and weighed 7'3ounces but he's already 6'4" and has great lungs. He caused his Mommy a little pain between 8am and 10:30pm but she was happy to meet him anyway. His Daddy was grinning from ear to ear and tended to Mommy and shared Jonathan (not sure of the spelling yet)with everybody in the room (two sets of grandparents and a step grandfather?) His eyes may be a bit blurred from all the pictures taken and it's quite possible he may not walk til he starts 1st grade...... it seems everybody want's to hold him..
Anyway, Nicole and Jeff are thrilled and Jonathan is happy to be in Paradise and promised his Grandpop John he would vote Democratic and push for the rich to pay more taxes and end the stupid wars He also want's a set of golf clubs and has already accepted that white guys can't jump , footballers get ripped knees and since he's likely to inherit Grandpop John's eye, he'll forego baseball. He hopes he inherit's his Mommy's academic brain and his Daddy's math aptitude and computer skills. That's about it, so far. He's looking forward to meeting all his cousins and singing some songs.....did I mention his healthy lungs??? Ciao.
Congratulations to Nicole, Jeff, John, and all the other grandparents. That night at the St. Joe's Boathouse i predicted a boy. i had a 50-50 shot. That's great news.

Congratulations to JNJ! Jonathan, Nicole, Jeff (sorry to bat you last Jeff but get used to it, you're a Dad now) i'm sure he's the cutest., smartest, brightest baby ever born. Hope you recover quickly Nicole. May i suggest TIMOTHY as a middle name? Quite a nice ring to it i think.
