Happy Birthday!

TJ tells me that Mother would have been 97 today...WOW!

this photo reminds me of "sliding pads". Me & Michael were "sliders" & we kept getting "strawberries" on our upper thighs. Actually, Michael only had them on his Left thigh...I got them on both L & R ( I could Hook slide). Mother made us "sliding pads" from old (new?) mattress covers! I led the League in stolen bases. Michael led the league in "Slides"! He even did a slide to catch a ground ball! We were "Strawberie-less" the rest of our Little League careers...
