I went to see Dick Dale last night...

Last nigth I went to see Dick Dale play at the Sellersville Theater. It was awesome. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. The Sellersville Theater holds only 350 people and it was very loud. I had front row seats and used ear plugs. Dick Dale played guitar, harmonica, bass and drums. At one point he played the bass with drum sticks. It was a great show. Dick Dale is touring the country with his 19 year old son playing drums. How cool is that? They reminded me of Eddie and Chris.

The name Dale...True story...Judy Ann worked with Dale Unser. They were friends. Judy Ann was with Dale one day while Dale was at her Bank. This was in the early '80s. The Teller said to Dale, "too bad you aren't married to that Phillie player, Del". Dale said "I am married to that Phillie player Del, can I just deposit my Pay Check?"

Just like Dick Dale...different era, different times...
P.S. Jason was "SHOCKED" when I didn't know Dick Dale.
I said I was not tuned into Surfer Music at that stage of my life...
