This is where, the now 68 year old, John/Jack "hangs out"...
@ $4.50 per phone call via Virgin Mobile I am not about to place a call to The Pub to wish him a Happy Birthday! I have already spent $4.50 to leave a message! Which he never listens to!
Thanks to 'those' for b'day wishes. Had a great day talking to sis and dinner w/ Nicole, Jeff and, did I mention my grandson, Jonathan? He's porkin' up and stretchin' out....big feet and hands (palms a marble already)and great lungs. I walk in and Jeff jumps up and says'hey Jonathan, here's Pop Pop" and hand's him over. Love IT!!!!! Earliest b'day memory: about 5/6yo...new double holster set w/ Cowboy hat, playing on wooden porch (before concrete conversion) and hiding behind wicker chairs/boulders. Frezing cold day until 'Momma" calls in the young cowboy for chicken noodle soup, as she bakes a b'day cake. I'd trade all my guns/hat for one more cake from Mary Frances.........
Memory of heroes: Hoot Gibson, Bob Steele, Ken Maynard, Randolph Scott, Gabby Hayes, Tom Mix, Cisco Kid/Panch,Gene & Roy, Pat Butrum, The Lonnnnne Rannnger & Tonto (thurs, night 7pm). Remember friday nights, Maxwell House coffee presents "I Remember Momma' which our Momma loved so much she made a wishing well (out of Max House can) for me to fulfill my Cub Scout task....and did it in record time. I remembered at 4pm for a meeting at Sciambi's at 7pm....Incredible woman......(stupid kid)
