Bunkers & Turning in your Comcast Equipment @ their "Customer Friendly Service Center"

I had to return the stuff to their "designated location". Could not return it to Lancaster Comcast. My drop off location was around 49th & Girard Ave in Phila.

  • An Armed Guard nodded me a pleasant Hello
  • There was only one other person in line
The place was a Horseshoe of Bullet Proof Glass & they spoke to me from tiny circles in the Glass. Could not understand a Word the guy was saying & suggested to him that he use "Sign Language". He did!
  • He signed that I should Flip the two Boxes over so he could scan the Bar Code on each, and also the "router" which has a Bar Code. He used a Scanner that penetrated the Bullet Proof Glass! My two Remotes had no Bar Codes.
Now I had to turn over the stuff...I had to put it through a Bullet Proof window that just barely allowed the stuff to enter (sorta like a Night Deposit Box)...I had to interrupt the 16 people that had formed in the Rope Line behind me to tell them I have been here for half an hour & I just need someone to come to "The Slot" & allow me to push my other stuff through! The slot would allow only one piece at a time...I had 5 pieces.
  • Not a good experience today at Comcast. I am sure there are reasons for the Bullet Proof Glass & other measures & I am not being critical. But we are talking TV time here People! Not life & death scenarios. It is The Public that Comcast is protecting their employees from...
The Public that Comcast serves!

I've been thru the 'ringer' w/ comcst in the past....Waited 50 minutes on Christmas Eve 4 yrs. ago to exchange a defective control box (belonging to them). Only one line available while different people came out to chat w/ lady at window. Finally a 2nd window opened where I went. Had to mention 50 minutes is a looong time to wait to exchange their defective eqpt., for which I'm currently paying. The lady starts snappin' at me and I snap back and she get's up and goes into the back room. People in line start yelling at her to come out and the "boss" comes out to yell at me for snappin'. Of course I snap back and all the people in line support me and he finally sits down and serves me. Donchano they're all out of the control boxes and I'll havetacomeback after Christmas........Enough said.

It seems to me to enter a building at 49th and Girard would require an AK47 along with the remote.
