We went to dinner last night @ the Lititz VFW Hall

We met Maureen's co-worker Jim & his wife Tricia & their daughter. We also met "The Post Commander"...his name was Jim. And Maureen gave him my Discharge Papers which proves that I am a  War Veteran! Next thing you know, Jim, The Post Commander,  is back at our table welcoming us to his Post!

  • The Commander was so excited to see us that he invited Tim & Maureen to join along with Maureen's buddy Jim (who is already a Social member) he's not a veteran & Jim's wife Tricia who The Post Commander thought was my wife!
Along with the daughter & any of her friends that have Saluted in their life-time!
  • I am being sarcastic...it was a nice experience. TJ had Haddock, Maureen had Liver & Onions & I "just had a salad"
  • We had 4 beers & 1 glass of wine...and the Bill with Tip was ...
Twenty Dollars...$20.00

So, Vietnam was worth it?

How come you didn't join Maureen for that delicacy: liver & onions? Now, I'M being sarcastic (I'm gagging just typing it!)

Pea: How did your bike ride go today? Who won the race--Pea or TJ?

First of all, what does "Carpe Diem" mean? Secondly, we have Paddy searching the Internet for a bike for TJ...thus, the Pea was biking while TJ was jogging. We both went about 66 yards. I was coasting most of the way.

66 yards yesterday; 76 today. Keep peddling and have fun, Pea & TJ!
