In discussion about The Pea's Pool Party (Sat July 14) & where to place The Keg
"What do you think TJ? I want the keg to be outside in a barrel, Poolside, so people will not have to go up & down the stairs to "MY PLACE" to pull their Draft. It would also be nice if we had Birch Beer On Tap for the Wee People. Am I right that our Nana had Birch Beer On Tap when we had Picnics at her house where you got lost along the Creek and everyone scrambled around in a Panic looking for you?

ABC sells root beer on tap! What time exactly does the par-tay begin?
Birch beer is a carbonated soft drink made from herbal extracts, usually from birch bark. It has a taste similar to root beer. Various types of birch beer are available, distinguished by color. The color depends on the species of birch tree from which the sap is extracted (though enhancements via artificial coloring are not uncommon). Popular colors include brown, red, purple and clear (often called white birch beer), though others are possible. After the sap is collected, it is distilled to make birch oil. The oil is added to the carbonated drink to give it the distinctive flavor, reminiscent of teaberry. Black birch is the most common source of extract. In the dairy country of southeastern and central Pennsylvania, an ice cream soda made with vanilla ice cream and birch beer is called a Birch Beer float, while chocolate ice cream and birch beer makes a Black Cow.
I'm sorry to say i won't be able to make the par-tay on July 14 as I have a solo gig in the Lehigh Valley. How-some-ever, i will say that this photo of GeraldPea is an excellent candidate for his next album cover. It looks like a Hollywood 'head shot'. The Lancaster life seems to be agreeing with the Pea.
Excuse me, "Hollywood",...is that a "wife-beater" you'd be wearing?
(You ARE looking good--relaxed and rested, Pool Man!)
Yo, that Birch Beer Fan sounds like a swell guy to have along on a lonnnnnnnggggg car trip. Imagine the knowledge to be gained on a variety of obscure topics....whew.
Pea,
We don't want people in our house using the bathrooms so theyre going to have to enter your "precious private pad" to use the facilities anyway! Might as well keep the keg where it is
the last Post by Anonymous was really by TJ, I can tell these things. What he is really saying is that Joe White's idea about Keg placement was so Fantastic that he is afraid to even mention it to Maureen. So, I will bring it up with Maureen tomorrow. hehehehe!
Ms. MO'H gave the green light when I said her sons-in-law wanted to "buy" the old fridge. "What kinda mother in law do they think I AM?"
I did NOT answer that rhetorical question......
