I personally know Jerry Blavat and let me only say, this man did me a big kindness when he let my little sister, AnnaMaria, work at his fancy-dancy nightclub as a hostess. AnnaMaria is a beautiful, dark-eyed angel and she needed the work. Ya see, her boyfriend, Joey Knuckles was not around to support her anymore, onaccounta he went away to the Jersey swamps one night and never came back. After all, you don't raise a hand to may little sistah and expect your trip to the swamps is gonna go well. All that being said, Jerry Blavat is a good man, I know. That's it... no more... I don't wanna abah dit.
True story: 1971 I'm buying a gun at Colosimo's gun shop ( as you know that location was the original factory that Milton Hershey set up for his chocolate business at 9th & Spring Garden) and in walks Jerry Blavat with a 6' blond , 20 years his junior. He is picking up his 5 shot .38 cal., 2" barrel, detective special. They present it to him with the chamber open, for safety, and the Geator snaps it shut with the flip of his wimpy wrist, like a TV gangster.
Colosimo screams at him, " You a**hole"! You're gonna snap the firing pin off! A few months later, I read in the paper that the Geator was arrested for pulling a gun on a guy over an argument in a parking garage. He had no permit to carry.
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
