This Pope could be very interesting...( all of this since the year 2000)
- was banished to the Mts of Argentina to teach math to High Schoolers
- Disagreed with the Gov't policies
- is a known intellectual regarding theology
- does not speak english
Was rescued from the Mts of Argentina by Pope John Paul who named him Arch Bishop of BuenosAires
- The Liberal Jesuits that sided with the Gov't didn't like it...but what could they do?
John Paul then made Jorge a Cardinal...and now he is The Pope...
- what did John Paul see in this man?
And who knew they had a subway system in Argentina?!?
