I just talked to the Pea and completely forgot to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday! Just last night I was lecturing Courtney about how she will have two "Fathers" in less than two weeks and she should know when each one has a birthday. You caught me early in the morning and I was running late to work. I also just helped an old lady cross the street and then read some books to some under privileged kids. My mind was on other things.
Happy Birthday Pea..Great Brother, thanks for letting me hang wit ya back in the day, when you and Franny and the guys would let me tag along...ok, Mother made you take me...but still it was a cool childhood with my star Basketball Brother.. (the photo inspired my memory)...Enjoy a cold Beverage on my today!! Love you Pea.
Thanks all for the Birthday wishes! I received 12 Birthday Cards from the nieces & nephews (5 of them were from Teagan). I had a chocolate cake w/ vanilla icing made from scratch by Keelan. I also had my favorite dinner (veal parm w/ spaghetti) that no one told me about so I did not eat. And then we had Pizza! Also, Uncle John is here to celebrate...Paddy & the Hawes bros were here & I got 3 bottles of Good Vodka! Who could ask for a better Birthday?
How about if we have a major sporting event without Referees, Umpires, Judges or Stewards? I Love that a 65 to one shot did ...
