I saw this guy on TV tonight & a "light bulb" lit above my head...

"Jim Salisbury grew up in New England, hoping to be the next Bobby Orr or Carl Yastrzemski. He became neither. So now he writes about sports, particularly baseball. He graduated from Providence College in 1987."

Considering when the guy graduated from Providence College I am thinking that it has to be Jason that the guy interviewed & I think it was in The Ambler Gazette! It was a cool thing to see your son quoted in the local paper!

But, the light bulb above my head told me that there was another interview in The Gazette with another "BM" and that would have been Blaze while he was at GA. I am bad at memories but I think Eddie's interview had to do with his heroics in a game. I think Eddie even told me later "it was embarrassing" the Quotes he gave the Reporter. I think the Reporter was Howard Eskin...

I wonder if our Family Football Heros have copies of those articles?

Jim Salisbury wrote the article about my head football coach at Wissahickon in 1994 and titled the article "Atilla the Savior..." The article spoke about what a great job he had done in coaching Wissahickon to the State Playoffs. It caused a lot of tension at school because the article ripped the Ex coaches who were still employed by Wiss. I have it in my scrap book. Jim salisbury also wrote a lot of the baseball articles about me and my team in high school. It was only 19 years ago! I feel old...

Class of '96, I am following Class of '64 stuff via email! Apparently none of them know Facebook or Blogs. I am not in the loop but I get stuff they are emailing about. For example, their asking who were we scheduled to scrimmage on Friday, Nov 22, 1963?
