I was very nervous during the Eagles - Dallas game last night. I found myself giving an imaginary halftime talk to my team.  I know how important a good snack is to a football game, my team would always have a snack before taking the field.  Go Eagles!

I am a little worried about the upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys. I have not seen one person pick the Cowboys to win. The last time this happened was two weeks ago versus the Minnesota Vikings... and we lost. But I think this is a new team, they play differently. This isn't the same feel a typical Philadelphian team usually has. I believe in Chip. I am Chipped' Up!

I think Eagles win big. I'm talking about 45-17.

This time next week we'll be hosting a home playoff game. Book it.

Ergo, I can say this...IMHO this is the best Beef Stew I have ever made! The potatoes were soft, the carrots were tender. I put just enough onion in the cooker. The beef was cut up into perfectly sized cubes...And I added the Peas just one hour before the whole deal was scheduled to be done.

The slow cooker was operating from 10AM 'til 6PM. I offered a bowl of stew to:

1. Timmy
2. Maureen
3. Keelan
4. Maura

They all turned me down...Timmy instead had a Peanut Butter & Jelly Hoagie on a soft roll, Maureen had some cookies that Keelan baked on this snowy day, Keelan asked me for a Diet Coke and some Twizzlers, while Maura was searching her I-phone for Gluten Free Delivery service...

Just started my 3rd year on Blossom Hill & every clear night in the Fall this Star appears in the Southwest.

I found out today that it is not a Star. It's a Planet. And the Planets' name is Venus. I never knew that a Planet shined like a Star...I never knew a Planet was different than a Star. I wish I could show you my Astronomer expert but she refuses to be photographed.

I saw my Dermatologist today and she Zapped the Hell out of me! This is shot of my right forearm. She also told me that she was so happy with my progress! She said to me, "remember what it looked like last year?" I grunted...She said, "it's looking so much better now, I think you won't need me next year". Did I mention she is Ukrainian & I could hardly understand her? She told me she was concerned that her boyfriend had to drive up near Canada to Wilmington today in this weather. I said, "Wilmington is in Delaware". I said maybe you mean Williamsport, Pa...she said, that's it! Williamsport. Is Williamsport near Canada? She wants to see me again in six months. Oh yea, the visit today will cost me $8.00 Big Ones!

So, it is supposed to snow tomorrow during the 2nd half of the Eagles game. The Birds are playing "an indoor team" which will give "the outdoor" Eagles an advantage. Or will it? Foles played for Arizona, Kelly coached in Oregon. It never snows in those places. I would Love to see a nasty weather day!

I am picking the Eagles regardless of the weather!

On a plane with the greatest athlete of all-time...

I was recently on a flight with the greatest athlete of all-time.  Who is it?

MLB Hall of Famer Dave Winfield.

We were both sitting First Class and he was in the row ahead of me.  He did not get up from his seat during the 6+ hour flight.  This surprised me because you’d think a former professional ball player would have injured and stiff legs.  Me on the other hand stood up about 6 times to stretch out my knees and back. 

DID YOU KNOW:  He is one of three players ever to be drafted by three professional sports (the others being Mickey McCarty and Dave Logan), and the only athlete drafted by four leagues.

He was a very large man.  He stood about 6'6" and looked like he could still play.  I started to tell him my Dad won the City Championship and my Uncle can do Sledge Hammer tricks.  He was not interested.
