No longer angry! Not complicated at all. Plug the phone jack into the Cable Box, not the wall phone jack! who didn't know that?

So I get this  'Handicap" phone from the VA. I'm thinking I will be able to sound & hear like a normal person when I talk to someone.

I read the Manual, I plug the phone in to three different phone jacks & I cannot get a Dial Tone...@#$%!!#$%^&*!

PS...I'll call you later

i'm trying to diagnose... is it a wireless handset? Is it fully charged?

I have tried it in the jack where the existing phone works. I have tried it in another jack on another wall & I have tried it on a combined 2 jack connection with one phone working & my Handicap phone dead! I appreciate your effort lil' bro.

Are you holding it the correct way? Are you talking into the speaker? Turn it upside down...

I have curled on the floor in a fetal position, I have also stood on my head leaning on the wall...I am now arranging a hanging noose in TJ's workshop so I can hang from my ankle...still no Dial Tone!

i guess you didn't read the manual very carefully? How did you finally figure it out? What's your number?
