Talking Baseball

Most baseball historians seem to agree that Mickey Mantle owns the longest home run ever hit, but there's some debate as to when and where it occurred. Some argue that he once hit a baseball 734 feet at Yankee Stadium on May 22, 1963. Others say Mantle's blast off Chuck Stobbs at Griffith Stadium in Washington, D.C in 1953 was measured at 565 feet, making it the official longest home run.

after his Baseball career ended Mickey changed his name & joined a Band...

The Mick was 5'11" and weighed 195lbs. He swung the bat as hard as he could, never thought too much about his swing..and when he connected, kaboommm. Mike Trout is the modern Mick. Cooker had his moments and happened to be 5'11" and 195lbs, switch hitter, long ball,too...of course that was 50yrs ago..just sayin! Yes, I idolized the guy, but having read his Bio, not sure he would have withstood the scrutiny today.

"...not sure he would have survived the scrutiny today." Great comment Mick, uh Cooker, that prompts the question, Do we really need that scrutinity in EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in the pulic eye?

Why is it that athletes and entertainers have folks digging into their every move but what do we know about the people, BOTH PARTIES, steering our country toward a lazy populace?

OMG i gotta get out from under Pea's mind control.

SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!
