I looked some stuff up & saw that NJ has 130 miles of beach. California has just over 2700 miles of beach. I guess that's why people don't complain too loudly about beach fees in NJ.
I have never been to the NY, Conn, Mass, Nova Scotia beaches. Do they charge a fee there?
Florida didn't charge a fee when I was there.

Pea,u can't go wrong at NJ beaches. Short drive from home, compared to the others u mentioned, plus u got a million memories to think about as u relax in the sun..who knows, maybe an old girlfriend will walk by and yez can go to Gallagher's and listen to Quiet Country! Just go in the backdoor thru the kitchen..tell 'em you know the Band.ha,ha..it worked back in the early '70's..ha,ha...
Enjoy yourself. DON'T FORGET SUNSCREEN!!!
Who's gonna tell him the $0.05 toll went up on the Tacony Palmyra Bridge?
Pea wants to know if he can pay his beach fee with his VA card?
Gerry: I just realized I've been to all east coast beaches except No. & So. Carolina (when I look at a map they seem to be tooooo farrr to the right side of our great USA)......I'm going to Wildwood in couple weeks....call me.
FYI: Chris Ryan's band played at Memories in Margate last weekend and will be playing 3rd sunday in July and a gig at a Marina in Wildwood the night before that....guess who booked them and named them? One night while sharing a bottle of imported (delicious) red dago wine from his old country town my good paison amigo (oh, forgot, my good friend Jerry 'The Geator" Blavett, Blavet, Blavit, Blavat)...let's call 'em The Old Goats of Fairmount, I say, and u have them to Memories on a sunday evening....."magical" he said and asked them on the spot. And the rest is history.........I also heard all his gangster, Sinatra and Frank Rizzo stories.....My friend, you understand", he said...."I want u to be my personal guest at Memories", he said. From what I hear that's good friendship to have since the bouncers are all huge, Italian and just aching to punch out a Mick. Real end of today's story.
