The black fish are what we call "live bearing", they reproduce. I was advised to get 1 male & more than 2 females (I got 3 hot babes). I now have black mollie babies in the tank! They are so tiny. Not sure if I have 1, 2 or 3 cause they hide themselves. I see them but no way to know if it's the same one. It's a nasty life in a Fish Tank...the big ones will eat their own..
Hope the little ones make it

still no sight of the Little one(s). As you can see from the bottom photo, even the Big Fish are looking for them. None of the big fish will admit to eating one of the Little ones.
I'm generally not inclined to be an aquatic expert, but, I think you are expected to put "the little ones" in a tub that hooks to the tank but the Biggies can't get in to eat 'em.
correcto-mundo lil bro! the lil tub that hooks to the tank to protect the little ones goes for $59.95. Obviously. The Fish Store wants me to buy more Big ones from The Fish Store...and to Hell with the Live Bearers in my Tank! Evil Corporations...
For those that care: there have been 3 more sightings of little ones in the tank 5 days after initial sighting
