I had to drive Maureen to BWI airport today for a 12:15 PM flight. This is the Map I consulted to find directions. It's a Sheraton Hotel Map of the USA circa 1987. The blue dots are locations of Sheratons. Not exactly the most detailed Map but I was not too concerned 'cause I thought Maureen would know how to get there. I took the route once before in 2012 when Timmy drove and they were headed to some exotic island on a get-a-way.
Anyway, Maureen had no clue as to where we were going, there were no signs that we saw indicating where BWI was, it cost me $12.00 on my EZpass cause we went to and fro with the Tunnel three times and the battery on Maureen's "smart phone" ran out!
Long story shortened, Maureen caught the flight in time & is now visiting with the newest Grand child, Seamus.
As for the not being sharp bit? Why didn't I just go to Google and get the coordinates! Duh...

Sorry. Coordinates only work if you are firing shells at Charlie Cong.
Just use the moon, stars and sun... That's what we did.
It was one of those "should I say it" moments the night before when Pea and MOH were arguing, uh let's make that discussing, how much time they needed to allow for the BWI trip. Flight left 12:30 PM.
P-we should leave at 9:30.
M-9:30!!
P-you have to allow for traffic, troubles,

At this point I was tempted to say, "You do know how to get there, right?"
I have learned after 43 years and 2+ years that you NEVER ask those 2, " Do you know" questions. THEY KNOW IT ALL!
THE NEXT DAY, 11:30 ish-
"Timmy, should we be going through 3 tunnels to get to BWI?"
Me- No.
M- he won't listen to me!
Me- Really?
M- thank God we left at 9:30. Will we make it on time?
Me-(thinking this NOT saying it) WHY DIDN't you print the directions?!?!?!? Sure.
M- if he only had asked for directions! He's a limo driver???
P- mumbling in the background "Why didn't HE tell us how to get there?
Me- Say Goodnight Gracie.
