the tradition of a grill being the man's domain began when grills were invented in 1948. Being an outdoor cooking device that required wood for heat, the man had to gather the wood. Women are not wood gatherers, nor do they like toiling outdoors. When charcoal for grilling came into vogue in 1956 women did not want to get their hands dirty from the charcoal. Propane came into use in 1978. Women read that you could get blown up and die if it was not handled properly, thus, they sent the man out to Grill...with their fingers crossed

very clean and tidy, GPea. when did the tradition begin that a grill is a man's domain? Discuss....
Dear Mr. Clean: WOW! I am impressed!! The "auto ignition" on any grill we've owned stopped working early in the grill's lifetime!
I always say "you can tell a lot about a man, by the condition of his grill!" ...old, faded, rusty..u get the idea. Nice photos Pea.
I resemble that remark Cooker.
