An infamous quote from his death bed..." I wish I could leave my brain with you guys, God knows you could use it".
He was a tough good man & Father
And now I look like him...
and of course, I was always his favorite

Just a thought, Dad doesn’t seem to get the “love” that Mother got, does he? That’s too bad, seemed his life was split in two… one with Mother and one without her. My few memories of him were that he could be pretty funny. He loved a party. He liked to be the center of attention. He liked it when we played our guitars and the BM’s got silly. He had his faults, we all do, but I think he tried. I’m sorry he didn’t seem to enjoy his kids, especially when they became adults. We all lost out on that opportunity. When I look at Mother and Dad, it’s easy to say I look just like him but I say I’m a real mix – a real “bonus baby mix”. Here’s to you, Dad.
Ditto EJM...that means I agree with your assesment & I had a lot more memories than you. He went "over the edge" after Mother passed...you showed up on the tail end...
