I then went to Adobe and sure enough they tell me I need to update. They show me a "click here to update" box & I click.
Three steps required to update:
- I click step one & the blue streak streaks forward
- I click step 2 & they ask me to accept their "Terms & Conditions" I click on the OK sign
- Step 3 is a window that shows me something else I can purchase, like a photoshop thing. I am not interested, but there is no "decline" button or Escape button from this page!
I go directly to Adobe & get the same run-a-round. What do I do?

not to mention that my EPSON printer will not print! I called Maintenance but the guy told me he does not do "electronics" he called it. He only does plumbing, heating, trash removal, pool cleaning, lawn mowing, leaf blah, blah , blah. At which point I dismissed him & went to my Tech Manuals....
Further research indicates I have a "Blocked plug in" what the heck does that mean?
Pea, it appears all Mac users are having the same issue. I had it this morning. Here's what I did and it worked.
- go to www.adobe.com and click on "SEARCH" at the top right of the Adobe homepage
- when the black screen comes up type "FLASH" into the search box
- the first option say "Adobe Flash Player". Right under it, in smaller print, it says "Get Adobe Flash Player"
- Click on "Download Now" and install the file.
- when you're done, you should get a message that says the install was successful..
- if all is successful, then restart your computer
- hopefully, life will be good again for you
call me if you need help with this.
Thank you EJM, it worked!!!
great!
