we saw it. Took a photo from our Hotel room. We looked at each other
and said we need to go there.
we were tired...an 11 hour drive day. But there was a Game.
So we walked to the Seadium.
Yep
So Jason & I know the layout of the Stadium.
We did not walk back to the Hotel,
we waved down a cab.
And the Royals beat the Blue Jays tonight
5-0
And if you ever drive cross country, drive with someone
that is not in a hurry..
Like stop at a Rest Stop and shoot some prarie dogs with your bee-bee gun, or whatever.
It is a beautiful country we live in
and I would never shoot a prarie dog.
They are cute...sorta like a squirrel is cute...

Or maybe you feel like Jim Whalen. I was telling him how I really love the Southwest. The desert, the mountains, the sand, the clear skys, the mesas. And he said..."How could anyone like that sandy brown & grey S**t!" To each his own...
In my brief visit ti CA, 16 hours, I was not enamored with the scenery. Kinda reminded me of downashore. I was impressed with the poolside flowers in December though.
very cool trip for Dad n' Lad. Good advice, if I ever get to drive cross country, I'll try to take my time.
