Fluorouracil USP 5% will really rip you up.
I actually went to the ER one time
cause it hurt so much.
But it does eat away at those pesky
pre-cancerous things on your skin
that you don't even realize are there.
And in the end it makes your skin cleaner.
But it also sometimes eliminates pigmentation, so you
may end up not being able to Tan in certain areas

I recently just completed a treatment, four weeks of applying the same cream every evening on my head and face. I did get a little blotchy but overall, not bad. When I went for my checkup two weeks into it, I mentioned how my brother had blisters and a lot of pain. My dermatologist told me that you should have stopped the treatment if it gets painful or blisters. She said you basically gave yourself a chemical burn. Her logic was to stop if you get too much reaction and come back to it later. Smaller doses - more often. She said, "don't hurt yourself, that's not the point." But that's not how it went for you, was it.
I hear you EJM and I have learned my Lesson.
