Thank you Blaze for thr public service announcement but we at 180 will stick to our dearly held, 44 year Treeditions. Aside from that, had you posted this in July there may have been some mid priced models still left. But NOOOOOOOO, you wait until 22 days to go to share this alleged miracle stand when only the Mini and XXX Maxi are left. No, no my friend, we will not be seduced.
How would I tell my 7 little elves that we no longer can buy a Mega Fir or Dominating Douglas or Super Spruce since it won't fit the 7 foot max of you beloved Mini Krinner? Why the very thought of giving up the ceremony of watching Dad drag a 10, 12, even 20 foot conifer through a 32 inch door, whilst profusely sweating off the Yuletide egg nog, would rattle the spirit of the newest 16 mini elves. What do we tell sweet Mrs. McK when she offers her advice and practical suggestions to the "right way" to put a tree in the stand? Do we just toss away the rope, string, chain and cables of yore that anchored our captive Norwegian Balsam to the wall, ceiling and floor? Do we tell the lumber yard we no longer need sheets of plywood the box in our Blue Spruce? What do we do with the Christmas bricks, rocks and cinder blocks that provided ballast to our Adirondack Pine?
You see Mr. Grinch, some treeditions are stronger than your Krinner Critter. Would you have us abandon the favorite winter game of "Who's Under The Tree NOW?" when that daily thud sounds? What would our dogs aim for when they lift a leg in salute to their indoor doggie plumbing? A water trough to "keep it fresh"? What fun is THAT? Do we look like wimpy cowards here in Lanco?
Speak for yourself, tshirtTim!!! Some of us in LanCo are willing to go on a waitlist for a Krinner stand. However, we'll be sure to head over to 180 to watch you and The Mrs. Go at it in your annual Christmas Showdown! Great idea, Ed!!!! ❤️ Seana

Almost, I say almost, makes me want to go to one of
those "cut your own" tree farms! Looks so easy.
