I can see why you enjoy(ed)hoops games with your buddies, so much...me, not so much..agruments, injuries, and guys who just don't know how to play the right way..nah,not for me. I took my ball and went home a long time ago..I never miss it. Of course maybe if I got picked to "start" a few games it would have been different.
You have to be really, really Lucky to be able to play full court
in your 60's. Some of the original ACHER's can still do it.
Oldest guy I played with in pick-up games was a man named
Jack French. Noone really knew anything about him, but he used to show
up for games all the time. Didn't talk much, just pushed us 'boys' around.
Didn't he play for "Green Parrot"? I remember him.
