3 out of 4 adults wear sunglasses @ Phillies games...
I was about 12 when I went to my 1st Phillies Game, 1958.
I'm guessing Dad was working the game & just told me to go find a seat.
Connie Mack Stadium...
It was ...unbelievable to me
I vividly remember walking out there and looking
at all of that green grass
Thinking, how did they get the grass so green...
Brynn is a lucky girl to have
Parents that are Fans.
Not much grass on D street...
I see the driveway, Sheckman's, Osterlee's, Litz place
and then it ends...but the street does look shady.
By the way, 4918 D street is For Sale @
$51,499 if you are interested...
It still has 3 bedrooms & one bathroom,
no mention about a shower on Zillow.com...

As for Connie Mack stadium..I still have dreams about that place..etched in my mind. Wish it was still there..same with D Street...crazy dreams, that I'm still walking around in that house..I would love to see it one more time. Great post,Pea.
Hey, that's Matt Jesson and his wife with Jason and Courtney... the McKendry Bros. have entertained at Matt's company party for the last few years. As they say, "good people". Check out www.greenlawnfertilizing.com, Matt started the company as a lawn mowing service in college.
Now, about D Street. Not too many years ago I took Anna to see the neighborhood. My memory was that it was pretty run down. Our house looked pretty good but when we stopped on the street to take a look, we noticed a group of nasty looking guys walking right down the middle of the street coming toward us. We left. As they say, "you can't go back". One other thought, everything seemed so close and small. Crazy to think of six kids and two adults in that house... with no shower. Really, who wrote on the bathroom mirror???
