On July 31, 2015, the Rangers traded Eickhoff, Nick Williams, Matt Harrison, Jake Thompson, Alec Asher, and Jorge Alfaro to the Philadelphia Phillies for Cole Hamels and Jake Diekman.[6] He made his major league debut for the Phillies on August 21.
So Ruben Amaro, Jr got 6 players for Hamels & Diekman? "I did not know that Ed"
Amaro's mistake was paying older players too much after they won the WS. He actually ended up with some young talented players that replenished the farm system he stripped to win the WS.

You didn't look up the correct trade. Phillies traded Ken Giles to Houston for this guy, Vincent Velasquez.
You are right Wheels. I meant that young Jewish pitcher...Jerad Eickhoff.
He is really impressing me...
