The message my Liberal neice is promoting is that Betsy DeVos is too rich and too clueless as to what the benefits of a Publc Education is all about!

My Liberal neice may not know that 56% of kids that 'graduate' from the 8th grade in Public Schools cannot read or write. While 96% of kids that graduate 8th grade from a Charter School are literate.

The Public School vs Charter School comparisons are just ridiculous. There is no question that Charter Schools are more beneficial for students...

The problem is the Teachers Union, and their dastardly PAC!

But back to Betsy DeVos who is a very rich woman ( by the way, just to clue you in, Rich people have more influence in gov't than poor people do)  and Betsy supports School Choice.

She does not want to eliminate Public Schools...she just wants parents to have a choice to send their kid to a Charter School & that Charter School will also receive govenment money...

Oh...and Riddle me this...
