True story...when I was in 8th grade & playing baseball (which I was really good at & get no adulation for)

We had a game @ B&Olney and there was an old guy sitting on our Team Bench.
The kids (me included) were making fun of the old guy...sorta like, when is that guy gonna get in the game? I guess he's our secret weapon. He must be our pinch runner!

After the game, one of my Teammates told me the old guy was one of our Coaches Dad. He told me
that the old guy was sick & that our Coach brought him to the game to watch because his Dad loved baseball. This kid teammate of mine (we were in 8th grade remember) said to me...
"we should never laugh at old people, maybe we will be old sometime" I never forgot that.
