How to get at least close to the Phila Art Museum on Thurs for the Parade

From a long time Phila resident & former Limo Driver...

The Art Museum is located in Fairmount.
As Bob Dylan once sang you need to approach it
From the West unto the East...

Think Philadelphia Zoo.
34th & Girard Ave

Exit the Expressway at Belmont Ave (on the left side of the Map)

Take Belmont Ave to Girard Ave (there are a few right & left turns involved
but you guys do have GPS)

Go Left on Girard Ave...The Zoo will be on your right.
Before the Girard Bridge, make a right on 34th Street.
The Zoo will still be on your right.
Follow 34th street to Market St (on the left on the Map)
Make a left on Market, pass 30th St Station on your left & scramble for a place to park!

You are just a few walking blocks/miles from the Parkway...

and you never got really deep into Center City...
