It is a scary looking gun. And that was the point when the gun mfrs 1st started producing it back in
the '50s...It is a replica of a combat weapon. The AR15 shoots one bullet with one pull of the trigger.
The AR15 came first & the design became the M16. The M16 was first used in Viet Nam
and was one shot per trigger pull OR full auto, ie, flip a switch on the side of the gun
& you could waste 20 rounds with one pull like the crazy Arabs do...
The M16 was mostly plastic & held up pretty well in jungle conditions.
Now we have the M9
And the M5
And the m4 carbine
Which are made for urban warfare...close quarters.
And shoot rapidly bad ass ammo.
No infantry soldier would ever agree to go into battle with just an AR15!
These weapons & other Military weapons, are fully automatic & have been banned from sale to the
Public since 1934! They wanted to make it illegal for the
Mafia to have Tommy Guns! See how well that worked out...
All guns are deadly. They will kill you when in the hands of the wrong person.
Oh, and I saw a news report where somebody said a rifle
bullet travels faster than a hand gun bullet, ergo, it makes no sense to arm
volunteer teachers or cops with hand guns...
The above hand gun is a Glock & it will...lay you down.
Bottom line, the AR15 is a nasty looking gun that is just as effective
& deadly as a Glock or a revolver, or the gun my Dad used to put on top of our
six foot six inch China Cabinet when he came home from work every day.
One trigger pull, one shot...
And do not even get into Bumpstocks! Nobody even heard of such a thing
until that Vegas nut killed all those innocent people...
To appease the Public, bumpstocks should be banned.

Seems like these ugly things make macho men out of pansies. You know, the guys who take their pictures wearing pistols and an AR across their chest. Exactly where do they think they are? must've all been bullied (and still would be if they didn't have the weapons).
If they really want to shoot people and get free ammo and four squares and a cot, most nights, they can always visit the local recruiting office. Then they can shoot all day long in the wide open spaces of Afghanistan or Iraq or any other place of their choice. Problem is these punks don't want anybody shooting back at them....just sneak up on young kids (in full field dress ammo, of course).
