Week # 2 of Football Season!

Time to talk about the Human Body shell...The shell being what protects the vital internal organs
inside the shell, that if damaged will cause REAL problems.

THE SHELL!

In the loss to Tampa Bay today, the Eagles were hurt by some vital injuries & alot of stupidity!

Jason Peters had an injured quad. What is a quad?
It's somewhere in that area.

The Eagles need Alshon Jefferies back! The fans scream.
What's the deal w/Alshon?
Alshon played last season with a torn rotator cuff

 He was exceptional!

and now for a Pea #me too moment...

I was a Limo driver, had surgery for a torn rotator cuff/torn labrum
and a torn bicep tendon all at the same time. I was lifting a suitcase from the trunk! Took me 8
months before the Doc said I was ok to return to work To drive a car!

Alshon was operated on in February. Seven months ago.
And Alshon is asked to do more than drive a car with annoying passengers!
And remove their luggage from the trunk...

Shoulder surgery is surprisingly painful & so is the rehab process.

So I am one that understands why Alshon is not yet,
"cleared for contact"

Ligaments: tough fibrous bands holding muscles, bones and organs together.....

Tendons: tough fibrous bands connecting muscle fibers (imagine a fibrous rubber band)to bones....muscles tears are painful and can be partial or complete....

Rotator Cuff: imagine tearing the bands and trying to move the joint while there is disconnection and tears.....very painful and severely limits movement. Shoulder injuries / surgeries are repaired only after long periods of rest and exercise rehab....Note: basketball 'gunners' tend to have high incidence of occurence.....unofficial research indicates.

More politics...is Liz a Republican or a Democrat? It does not say...

49,000 people live in her County in Arizona & it took 10+ years to realize there was $38 million dollars missing? Imagine what is goin...
