This is a photo that indicates how young I once was

My first car. A 1953 Ford. Mine was a darker blue.

Cost me $35.00 in the summer of 1963 & I had no clue how to drive it.
It was a stick shift. Pretty much all Fords from 1953 were sticks.

This is a photo of how old I have gotten

This is an LG Phoenix4 smart phone.
My first smart phone.
I have no clue how to work it.

Michael recited a prayer over my old '53 Ford
somewhere in some dusty state that only he knew
where to find 'Old Blue' since it died @ St Francis
in the Winter of 1965 in a snow drift.

Cause of death was "lack of anti-freeze"

Will future generations be praying over the demise of the
iPhone somewhere?

and take Photos?!@?

I miss the 1953 Ford too. Dad insisted I take it back to SFU in fall 1964 ('65?} when I asked him to drop me off at King of Prussia turnpike entrance (hitch hike back to Loretto PA). Trouble was I had no money and just let it sit. Very sorry about the block cracking....when my ship comes in, Gerry, You're on the list for a new Ford....it was a beauty.
