Just watched Proud MARY/Tina Turner. She knocks herself out performing, the band plays their best and the all white audience can hardly wait til they get some ice cream....how in hell did they sit so still, oh, finally clapping hands......Rock & roll has come a very looooonnnng way, Baby, thankfully....imagine if Michael & Eddie did that number, that way.....
