The San Francisco School Board voted to allot $1 million dollars for the removal of
an 83 year old Mural depicting the life of George Washington. The School Board said the Mural
is upsetting the children with racist images & images of white supremacy!
The mural was painted in the 1930's by Victor Arnautoff
who was an avowed Communist!
He painted the mural because he thought Old George was
getting too much adulation from the American public!
And he did not like that old George was a slave holder...
The irony & stupidity of it all boggles my mind.
The FDR administration paid Victor to do the Mural.
Part of "The New Deal" under FDR,
as opposed to...
"The Green New Deal"
under AOC.
But the current San Francisco Board voted unanimously that the children must be protected!
And Victor's mural must be destroyed! Never to be seen again...
Sorta like the Taliban when they were knocking over iconic images in the early part of this
Century...
and taking photos...and destroying things...
So...$1 million dollars is allocated to remove a mural that was commissioned by our long ago President (FDR) & done by a Commie that did not like our first President (George Washington)...
to protect todays children.
