Riddle me this...

Why would a company pay $9.2 billion to buy the classified ads section of an old company?

EBay to sell classified ad business to Adevinta for $9.2 billion

When is the last time you opened your daily paper or went on-line to check out the classified Ads?

I'm looking to sell my bike. The last source I would pay to advertise the sale is the Phila Inquire classified Ads!

But I'll bet you would try to sell that bike on E-bay Pea! By the way, I'll give you $30 for the bike,
$10 for the UCLA sweatshirt and a dollar for the knit hat!

Knowing the approx. $ you paid for the bike, I must warn you, as an intense ad searcher for a used bike (I eventually bought a new bike), the market leans heavily to the 'cheap' end. Look through biking magazines for your upscale market.
Sorry to hear you're selling.

Brother John, please define 'cheap'. You are familiar with my bike. What should I ask for it?
I am looking to buy a $600 light weight bike. The old TREK is pretty heavy.
