one percent
More than 19,000 players have stepped onto a major league diamond in the 150-year history of professional baseball. Only 235 have been elected to the Hall of Fame - a rate of about one percent of all major leaguers.
Pete is not one of the 235 because he gambled on games.
Now, all we see on Phillies & 76ers games are
Commercials every 6 minutes inviting us to gamble on a game!!
"Put Pete in The Hall!"
A note: There are 333 people in baseball's hall of fame.
235 players & the other 98 are executives, managers, umpires.
reporters, janitors, limo drivers & caterers.
