(KUTV) — On Inauguration Day, President Joe Biden thanked White House Staff and said there was a lot to do but he knew their hearts and said it would be done with the core value of humility.
He thanked their families for the sacrifices but then delivered a warning, as well, and said he wasn't joking on the matter. The president warned White House staff not to talk down to others or treat them with disrespect, saying that has been missing "in a big way" the past four years.
If you're ever working with me and I hear you treat another colleague with disrespect, talk down to someone, I promise I will fire you on the spot. On the spot," Biden said. "No ifs, ands, or buts. Everybody, everybody is entitled to be treated with decency and dignity."
