Out of the Blue...

 A little bit of this story may be embellished...

I was driving with brother Tim today & he got a text. Took him a while to read & re-read it. I waited a bit then asked him what was that about? I will paraphrase the text...

"Tim, this is Mike !?!? and I'm contacting you today to thank you for helping & supporting me when I first joined UPS. I was an 18 year old little lazy shit when I met you. You were my Supervisor & you almost made me quit! You hounded me & my mom by calling her looking for me when I didn't show up for work. She thought I had the day off!

You even offered to come & pick me up when I lied that my car wouldn't start.

Just want to let you know that tomorrow is my retirement day! 40 YEARS! Can you believe it? Me & my wife & kids can't thank you enough...God Bless...

Timmy looked at me & said...
