Mark Walter is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School in 1978.[1] His father, Ed, worked at a local concrete block manufacturing plant.[1] Growing up, he was a fan of the Chicago Cubs baseball team.
Now I find out he owns all kinds of stuff!
In the world of Rich people they don't call it Owner, they call it Majority Owner!
'cause what these people Buy is too expensive for One person to own.

So they have what they call Minority owners.
Mark Walter is in the news today because he bought a Majority stake
in the Los Angeles Lakers for $10 billion dollars!
From the Buss family...
Jerry Buss,The Dad, first purchased the Lakers in 1979 for $67.5 million in a deal that also included the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and The Forum in Inglewood, California. The franchise passed down to his children after he died in 2013. The Buss family has owned about two-thirds of the Lakers prior to this sale.
The Buss family will retain 15% ownership.
I did not mentiom that this guy, Mark Walter, also is Majority owner of the Dodgers & many other World Wide sports teams... Walter attended Creighton University, where he studied accounting and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business in 1982.[3] He then graduated from Northwestern University Law School in 1985...
